Are you an avid Apple user? Want to learn more about the accessibility features that are available on your Apple device?
Discover the different ways to interact with a Mac for those students at UTS with various accessibility needs. This practical workshop will explore a variety of features designed by Apple to make your life easier.
Apple’s highly trained creative team will provide you with an insight into built-in assistive technologies such as ask Siri and VoiceOver can potentially enhance the working ability for all staff and students with a range of learning needs. You will also learn how about:
- Navigating accessibility shortcuts
- Adjusting speaking rate
- Closed captioning
- Dictation
- Audio description
- Changing display settings for a better experience
These sessions have been tailored to show you the basics of using assistive technologies that are built into every Mac so every individual shares the same opportunity in the classroom.
