    10:30 am - 11:30 am

In this online clinic we will be discussing how you can utilise the functionality of Zoom when teaching live sessions to enable a great student experience. You can expect to learn about teaching strategies that have been tailored for use in online contexts and hear how these strategies have been successfully implemented in UTS subjects to date.  We will be joined by Associate Professor Alison McEwen who will share how she has been using Zoom to teach online with an international cohort of genetic counselling students.

While this clinic is not aimed at covering the technical aspects of Zoom, we will look at some of the features offered by the platform that enable student to be active and engaged during live sessions. To prepare for the clinic you may wish to familiarise yourself with Zoom by accessing your UTS Zoom account.

After a short presentation, the session will be opened up to Q & A.

Zoom link will be provided in the confirmation email.
