Subject outlines for Spring 2021 are due 26 July 2021. Here’s what you need to do.
When updating subject outline we recommend you add the following statement to the Attendance field (as was done in 2020):
To comply with health advice from NSW Health, the planned delivery of this subject for Spring 2021 has been adjusted. Activities planned for campus in the first 4 weeks of session are being moved online. Activities for the remainder of the session will be scheduled on campus only if the public health situation permits face-to-face learning in available teaching spaces. Please log into Canvas and monitor your UTS email for the latest advice concerning subject delivery and assessment information.

Forms of attendance in this subject are subject to change depending on the COVID-19 situation. Up-to-date information about attendance is available on Canvas.
If you do not have edit access to the ‘Attendance mode’ field in CIS Subject Outlines, contact your Faculty/School CIS contact to find out what arrangements are in place to include the statement (ie. statement is entered in the ‘Attendance mode’ field by the Faculty/School CIS contact; or statement is entered in a different field editable by the subject coordinator). You can find your Faculty/School CIS contact in the CIS Documentation.
Note you may also need to make amendments to the Weekly schedule and assessment details. We recommend you add detail into the Canvas site and refer students to this.
Student feedback indicated they need to know:
- what do I need to do this week?
- where will I find what I need to do? (add clear links to any readings or activities)
