2:00 pm - 2:45 pm - LX.lab CB06.04.020
Who should attend?
All teaching staff, new and experienced, continuing or on contracts, are welcome at this event.
What will explore?
How do we facilitate effective collaboration among students, especially in a first-year blended learning environment?
Team-building methods offer us innovative ways to engage students more actively and productively in group work.
In this workshop, Melissa Dib will introduce us to one of these methods, Belbin’s Team Roles. Melissa will show us how this approach can help students foster better relationships, achieve higher performance, and enhance professional identity formation when working in groups.
Facilitated by students
The LX.lab supports UTS students in developing teaching and learning workshops for the wider UTS community. This session will be facilitated by Melissa Dib.
Melissa is a penultimate-year student in Law and Business (Human Resource Management) and an experienced mentor for the UTS Business School. Melissa is passionate about education, mentorship and developing student confidence.
