Let’s consider our role as teachers in supporting and developing this literacy to enable students to move from passive feedback recipients to active learners with agency in their learning.  The webinar will provide you with opportunity to share and explore your practice with colleagues. The webinar activities are based on publications by researchers such as Carless, Boud, Winstone and Broadbent that point to the benefits of students being able to identify and appreciate different forms and sources of feedback, make judgements of their own and manage the emotional aspects of giving and receiving feedback.

The objective of developing this increased awareness is that students can take action – i.e. utilise feedback to improve performance.  We will consider current practice and identify techniques, strategies, and activities to improve on this from the facilitator’s perspective.

The recording of the first session is available, but it is not necessary for you to have attended.
