Wanting to create video content for your class and not sure where to start? Then this is for you!

In this quick workshop we’ll cover some basics to get you started for shooting with a smartphone or tablet, and giving some small tips, tricks and advice to improve your quality. We’ll cover things like planning, choosing a location, using natural light, audio, choosing an editing program (if needed) and more! These days it’s so easy for anyone to shoot a video on a phone or tablet and we hope this will give you the courage to get out there and give it a go!

This workshop will be led by Matt, the Educational Media Producer from IML. This session is adapted from a presentation for the LX.lab Technology Showcase, part of the 2018 Casual Academics Conference. Check out more resources from the Technology Showcase here
