Want an active and engaging way to find out what your students are thinking in large classes? This is your chance to get an insight into students’ opinions in a fun and instant way using free online polling tools!

Online polling tools allow you to instantly see how well students grasp a certain concept, give instant feedback on their understanding or kick off discussion on a polarising topic. In this half hour session you will experience two free tools you can use and some of the question types available.

This will be an interactive demonstration, so please bring along your smart phone or tablet and find out how to get instant answers from your students using interactive polling tools.

This session is adapted from a presentation for the LX.lab Technology Showcase, part of the 2018 Casual Academics Conference. Check out more resources from the Technology Showcase here.
