Are you looking for easy-to-implement technology-enhanced teaching ideas? What if you already have some great teaching models and you want some help sharing them? Either way, LX.Lab has developed a collection of adaptable resources for teaching with technology that we aim to grow by tapping into faculty ideas for creative teaching. Our goal is to provide quick, evidence-based, and feasible solutions that can improve the learning experience for UTS students.

So, if you are keen to benefit from or take part in this work, please join us in this Tooltime session!

In this Tooltime session

We will share with you approaches for teaching with technology that can be reused, mixed, tweaked, and embedded into Canvas. Additionally, we will help you share your creative teaching with the wider community through co-designing. This session is open to anyone who wants to be inspired or contribute to inspiring others. Here are some of the things you can expect to learn:
  • Discover how you can use technology-enhanced teaching resources in your subjects.
  • Take advantage of a new opportunity to publish your teaching methods

Who should join?

This session welcomes academics, learning designers, and learning & teaching teams.

What is Tooltime?

Tooltime is a series of short informal showcases, where staff from all areas are given the opportunity to share a gadget, tool, app, workflow or technique. The technologies showcased can range from anything that could engage learners, streamline teaching or are simply time savers. Sessions do not have to formally address teaching and learning concepts in-depth, but rather recognise the technology’s potential capabilities in this area. Each session in the series will run for 30 minutes and are intended for either academic or professional staff.

Disclaimer:

The Tooltime hosts make no claims on the utility of tools and do not necessarily provide support for the gadgets, widgets or workflows presented.
