Looking for a handy tool to coordinate multiple online meetings and catch-ups for students? With the mix of online and face-to-face classes, organising the space and time with students can get quite messy. Microsoft Bookings is an online scheduling tool that allows students to self-book into appointment times with you, which is integrated with your Outlook calendar.

Join us for our Tooltime where we show you how to set up Microsoft Bookings, allowing your students to easily schedule meetings based on your own availability.

What’s covered in this session

  • Getting started with MS Bookings
  • Setting up and configuring your Bookings page
  • How MS bookings sync with your Outlook calendar
  • How MS Bookings form can be embedded into your Canvas page
  • Live demonstration

What is Tooltime?

Tooltime is a series of short informal showcases, where staff from all areas are given the opportunity to share a gadget, tool, app, workflow or technique. The technologies showcased can range from anything that could engage learners, streamline teaching or are simply time savers. Sessions do not have to formally address teaching and learning concepts in-depth, but rather recognise the technology’s potential capabilities in this area. Each session in the series will run for 30 minutes and is intended for either academic or professional staff.

Disclaimer

The Tooltime hosts make no claims on the utility of tools and do not necessarily provide support for the gadgets, widgets or workflows presented.
